I am a chocoholic, but even if you are not, I am sure you will enjoy this recipe.
Makes about 2 dozens
- 75 g unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 °F
- Sift flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder together, set aside
- Using an electric mixer fitted with paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar together at medium speed until fluffy
- Reduce speed to low, add eggs and vanilla extract
- Mix in flour mixture in 2-3 portions until blended, scrape sides and bottom of bowl
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Place rounded tablespoons of dough on baking sheets lined with parchment paper, spacing 2 inches apart
- Bake for about 13-15 minutes
- Let cool on baking sheets for about 5 minutes, then transfer them on wire racks to cool completely
